The Civic Tech Innovation Network welcomes new Project Manager

As of the 1st of October 2023, the Civic Tech Innovation Network welcomed Sara Kapay as its new Project Manager. Sara joined the team at a busy time for the Network, during preparations for the #AfricaFlows conference. During the conference, she met many from our community and was excited to engage and work with all our stakeholders.

She describes herself as “a dynamic professional with extensive experience engaging with stakeholders across diverse levels and cultural backgrounds. She is yet another addition to the Secretariat team looking to fulfill CTIN’s vision of leveraging technology for public good in Africa.

She states that she is passionate about civic tech, ethics, and governance, and we believe she is an important addition to this rapidly growing team.

Commenting on her appointment, she says, “I am ready to embrace new challenges and contribute to impactful initiatives, making a lasting difference”. 

Also joining the team is Frans Maluleke who is filling the position of Programme Administrator as of the 2nd of January 2024.
