Initiative Description
TALKAM Human Rights App is a civic tech tool dedicated to addressing human rights abuses, promoting and protecting human rights and stimulating reportage and actions among citizens, agencies and organisations. The goal is to use technology to disrupt human rights abuses, ensuring that victims become victors. TALKAM, a pidgin English word meaning 'to speak out,' is not just an app – it's a one-stop human rights platform with multiple functionalities dedicated to making a tangible impact on human rights in Africa and beyond, transcending borders from Africa to the World."
TALKAM Human Rights App is used for reporting human rights abuses, tracking reported cases, case management, social networking, data analysis on human rights, and human rights online courses.
