GSMA Innovation Fund for Mobile Internet Adoption and Digital Inclusion
Are you a start-up or SME in Sub-Saharan Africa or Asia? Are you helping people get online for the first time using mobile internet?
The GSMA Innovation Fund for Mobile Internet Adoption and Digital Inclusion aims to support innovative solutions to increasing mobile internet adoption and use for those currently not using mobile internet services.
You could be eligible to apply for an equity-free grant of between £100,000 and £250,000 to scale your innovation over a 15- to 18-month period. Find out more here

Innovative approaches to enhance poverty-related diseases research call for proposals
The purpose of this call for proposals by the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) is to fund a number of small- to medium-scale clinical trials and/or clinical research studies that can deliver proof-of-concept or validation of smart, highly innovative technologies or concepts to prevent, treat or diagnose PRDs in sub-Saharan Africa. The call is strictly aimed at supporting novel innovations and therefore excludes concepts and technologies that have previously been commercialised, rolled out, tested in large trials, or are already in routine use in healthcare settings. The CIVICUS Crisis Response Fund
The CIVICUS Crisis Response Fund provides a way for civil society organisations facing new restrictions on their work to apply for funding for emergency advocacy actions.
It provides small grants of up to 10,000 USD over 3–6 months to national civil society organisations for them to run advocacy or resiliency activities over a maximum of six months.
