Speaker Bio

Martin Gordon Mubangizi (PhD) is a Data Scientist and Officer - in Charge of United Nations (UN) Global Pulse in Kampala, a hub in the UN Global Pulse Network. Global Pulse (UNGP) is the Secretary-General’s Innovation Lab. With its vision of responsible and inclusive innovation, the lab supports the UN’s Common Agenda for global cooperation His research interest is in applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), data and AI governance, including data privacy. Martin is also the interim General Chair of Data Science Africa Uganda.
