Speaker Bio

Kristen Abrahams is an LLB graduate who holds an Honours in English Literature from Wits University. She is passionate about ensuring that all people have access to the opportunities and resources needed to live dignified lives. She previously worked at the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, in a space dedicated to strengthening democracy in South Africa, and continues contributing to this space at the Legal Resources Centre. Kristen is the General Secretary of the Defend our Democracy movement.
