Speaker Bio

Danga's portfolio at the South African Cities Network focuses on the management of municipal finances, developing human capacity in the public sector and the participation of vulnerable communities in municipal governance.

Danga has over twenty years of work experience in three countries and on two continents in both the private and the public sector, including as an independent consultant in democratic governance. He has conducted research for a range of clients including the City of Johannesburg, the Department of Public Service and Administration, the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature, and the South African Local Government Association (SALGA).
