Initiative Description
Hacks/Hackers Africa is a civic tech initiative that has bases across several African countries. The purpose of the initiative is to create a network of journalists (hacks) and technologists (hackers) who can use their knowledge and connections to rethink the future of news, information, and its dissemination. The intersection between journalism and technology has often been ignored in the past. Hacks/Hackers Africa is striving to change this.
