Initiative Description
The online registration system is a provincial government web platform where parents can Apply for learners' school placement for the following year. Parents are notified of the outcome of their Applications vis SMS and have to respond within a week. The platform provides an alphabetic list of schools in the gauteng province and it can handle about 35,000 users in one second.. The department has offered placement to 102 971 Applicants for the online admissions 2020.
