Session Overview: 

The panel will reflect on the radio platform’s existence across the continent. Radio has been active for 100 years in South Africa but in other parts of Africa, it has existed prior. Panellist will share the history of the medium in the different regions of the continent i.e., Southern, Eastern and Western. They will discuss the role radio plays in nation-building, reaching/communicating with rural communities and bringing peace in conflict-stricken regions across Africa.
