Session Overview
This session will introduce Somo, the Open Institute’s innovative e-learning platform, designed to build capacity in civic tech and governance sectors across Africa. The talk will explore how Somo empowers governments, civil society, and communities to access critical knowledge and tools for harnessing technology and data for public service transformation. Through real-life case studies, interactive demonstrations, and group discussions, participants will gain an understanding of how Somo provides scalable, impactful learning that bridges the gap between technology and policy for sustainable development.
