Initiative Description
PPDC’s Procurement Governance (PG) initiative seeks to improve the effectiveness of public sector processes by entrenching efficiency, accountability, and transparency within Nigeria’s public procurement landscape. With over 4 cardinal program areas of Access to Information, open contracting, procurement monitoring and FOI ranking, PG through strategic reform initiatives, overhauls Nigeria procurement system for improved governance and citizens satisfaction. Our PG initiative has successfully revamped public contracting conducts and access to information by improving disclosure practices of public institutions and their responsiveness to citizens demand; enhanced public service effectiveness in Africa and facilitated increased citizen participation in governance
